So we enjoy bringing you the highest quality organic wines direct from the grower to your door. We like sharing our knowledge about these delicious organic wines by giving you a little background information to the wines and the winemakers who created them.
Over the years we have built up a wide selection of quality organic and biodynamic wines produced by people who care. We enjoy building personal relationships with our growers so we can bring you the stories behind the wines. Our regular visits to the vineyards also ensure that we are able to choose the most delicious organic wines available from winemakers who are passionate about producing wonderful wines in an environmentally and socially responsible way.
Organico is a traditional family business with a progressive, modern outlook, run by the Jackson family – Peter, Sue and son Chris. We can even say we are a three generation business, having recently introduced our first 'own branded' red wine from Tuscany, 'Dominico' named after Chris's son Dominic. And a cracking wine it is too!
Our retail outlet in Ambleside is the first wholly organic wine shop in the UK and lies in the heart of the English Lake District. If you are in the area, we look forward to you visiting us in the shop where you can taste our wine of the week.
